I got a Joke for you:

Can a hamburger marry a hot dog?

……Only if they have a very frank relationship!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Here are the Roster details for this weeks Line up!

Ingredients:

  • 12 Slider Buns
(My grocery store had small hamburger buns for sliders – but if you don’t have those – use Dinner rolls! Cheap and Perfect size!!)
  • 1/8 cup mayoIMG_1835
    (To butter your buns)
  • 12 Cheddar Cheese Slices
  • Slider size Burgers:
    • 1 ½ pounds Ground beef
    • 1 tbsp Onion powder
    • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
    • 1 tbsp Salt
    • 1 tbsp Pepper
    • 1 tbsp Paprika
    • Hot Sauce (10 dashes ish)
    • 1 tbsp parsley
  • My “MAC” Sauce:
    • 1 cup mayo
    • 2 tbsp Ketchup
    • 2 tbsp Mustard
    • ½ tbsp Onion Powder
    • ½ tbsp Garlic Powder
    • ½ tbsp paprika
    • 1 tsp White Vinegar
    • ½ cup Relish (or finely chopped up Pickles)
      * I used my Nanny’s homemade Relish (It’s a Family Favourite)
    • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Gherkins {Small pickles} (optional)
  • Cherry Tomatoes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl mix your Burger ingredients together (with your hands – be prepared to be messy for a few minutes!)
  2. Divide your meat mixture into 12 equal-sized balls
  3. Form each ball into a Patty & and put them in the freezer while you move on to Sauce
(Tip: use a spatula and just press each ball down and then just round them out with your hands)
  4. In another Bowl Mix together all your ingredients for your sauce
(Mason Jar storage is the best)
  5. Next, cut your buns (if not cut) & butter with Mayo
  6. Get your Patties out of the fridge and on to the grill
(BBQing is the best – but a cast iron skillet is second-best on High heat)
  7. Add the cheese onto your patties when they are almost done cooking about 5-6 minutes & toast up the buns
(Oven temp Broil – 30 seconds to a Minute or Grill on top rack for the same time)
  8. Take buns and burgers off the grill, start to assemble and add lots of “MAC” Sauce
  9. Garnish with a gherkin and cherry tomato on a toothpick for an ELE-GEWNT Touch!!!
